Stillhouse Hollow fishing report 8/24/08

Bass fishing on Stillhouse has been good last week fishing shallow with the rains and cloud cover. Fish up to 5 pounds have been caught on a variety of baits, traps, swim baits, t-rigs and flukes to name a few. Structure fishing has been very good when you locate a spot with fish on it, fish are stacked up on the structure spots with fish up to 10 pounds common, several 5 to 8 pound fish are being caught on these structure spots. 20 to 35 feet deep is were to look for these schools of fish on structure. C-Rig with any watermelon seed bait, jigging spoons and swim baits are all working well on the structure spots. This lake never stops amazing me on just how many off shore locations there are on this small body of water, if you are willing to spend some time graphing and using your buoy markers you will find the mother load off shore on this lake. Good luck fishing Stillhouse and remember this is a small lake, respect the other guy's locations, there are plenty of spots that have yet to be discovered. If you look you will find and the results will be well worth the time spent looking.
