Stillhouse Hollow fishing report 04/26/2010
Lake level is 622.5 one half foot over normal, surface temps from 68 to 71. With that said, you would think fishing would be great, not so. Fishing remains tuff on Stillhouse. Over the weekend there was a 30+ boat tournament, 12.70 won with 4 fish, 8.71 big bass. You can catch lots of 10 to 13 inch bass in 2 to 20 foot on T-rigs (pumpkin seed power worms), shakey head trick worms in watermelon, and green pumpkin. The hydrilla took a beating in 2007 flood and has not recovered yet, there is areas with 1 to 4 foot strands of grass, but no large areas yet. If we have stable water levels this year, the hydrilla should make a good come back which with greatly help the fishing. Until next time - good luck.WayPoint Guide Service and WayPoint Markers . com
